Thinking about competing at Manneken Swing 2026? Whether you’re considering your first competition or you’ve already stepped onto the competition floor and want to better understand how it all works, this workshop is designed for you.
Open to Newcomer and Novice dancers, this interactive workshop will help you feel more confident, better prepared, and ready to enjoy the competition experience.
What to Expect?
Competition Explained (1 hour)
Learn everything you need to know before entering a competition:
- How competitions are organised
- What to expect on the day
- Competition etiquette and format
- What judges are looking for
- Tips to help you compete with confidence
Competition Simulation & Personalised Feedback (1 hour)
Experience a realistic competition simulation and receive personalised feedback to help you identify your strengths and the areas where you can improve.
Social Dancing (1 hour)
We’ll finish the evening with a relaxed social dance – free for everyone! It’s the perfect opportunity to put your new skills into practice, ask any remaining questions, and simply enjoy dancing together.
